The holidays are here again and that means it’s party season! The best accompaniment to a well planned soirée is a signature cocktail and we’ve got you covered! Take a look at these beautiful and delicious seasonal drinks and tell us which one is the favorite at your holiday bash this year!

Peppermint White Christmas

Ingredients:

1 Bottle chilled Champagne
White Creme de Cocoa
Candy Canes

Directions:

1. In a ziplock bag, crush 1 whole candy cane with a rolling-pin or something sturdy until you are left with a semi fine powder.

2. Dip the rims of your champagne flutes in a small dish of White Creme de Cocoa and then in the crushed candy cane.

3. Fill champagne glasses 1/3 full with White Creme de Cocoa and then the rest of the way with chilled Champagne.

4. Garnish with a whole candy cane. (this adds color and flavor to the cocktail!)

5. Sip & enjoy.

Gingerbread Eggnog White Russian

Ingredients:

1/2 tsp. cinnamon for rimming glasses
2 tsp. sugar for rimming glasses
4 oz. eggnog
4 oz. vodka
4 oz. Kahlua
3 tsp. 3 teaspoons molasses
1/8 tsp. ginger
Whipped cream for topping
Molasses drizzle for topping

Directions:

1. Mix cinnamon and sugar, then pour onto a plate. Wet rims of each glass and dip them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

2. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour eggnog, vodka, Kahlua, molasses, and ginger. Shake to combine.

3. Pour into glasses and top with whipped cream, then add a light drizzle of molasses.

 

Italian Vin Brule

Ingredients:

1/3 cup sugar or honey
Zest and juice of 1 orange (use a vegetable peeler to create the strips of zest, being careful to make them thin and avoiding the bitter white pith)
Zest of 1 lemon (same method as for the orange)
2 cinnamon sticks
4 whole cloves
A pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
1 bottle of full-bodied red wine

Directions:

1. In a heavy pot, mix the sugar or honey, citrus zest, orange juice, and spices.

2. Heat over medium-high heat until the sugar or honey is dissolved and an aromatic syrup has formed, about 4-5 minutes.

3. Then lower the heat to low and add the wine. Bring to just a bare simmer and continue over low heat for about 15 minutes or until wine is flavorful.

4. Be careful not to let the wine boil, which adversely affects the flavor.

5. Ladle through a fine-mesh strainer into mugs or heat-resistant glasses to serve.

6. Garnish each mug with an orange slice or stick of cinnamon, if desired. Serve steaming hot.
