Bacoban™

 Sink Chip Minimizer

Our Chip Minimizer is a rounded edge on the inside perimeter of your sink cutout. This rounded edge reduces the risk of the inner perimeter of your sink chipping. Chips on the inside edge of your sink are quite common and are
caused by banging or hitting cookware on the cutout itself.

Radius Corners & Sweeps

A countertop radius corner is a rounded or curved edge on a countertop. It’s the degree of roundness in the corner of a countertop. A countertop radius sweep is a curved edge profile that rounds off the corners of a countertop.
This creates a softer, more comfortable look and makes the countertop safer to use.

Available Edges

Square Inside Corners on Sink

Square inside corners on a sink refer to the design where the interior corners of the sink have sharp, 90-degree angles rather than being rounded or curved. This style creates a modern, minimalist appearance and maximizes the usable space within the sink. However, square corners can be more challenging to clean compared to rounded corners, as debris or water may accumulate in the sharp edges

Back Polishing Slab

Back polishing the slab involves refining and smoothing both the top and
bottom surfaces of the countertop to achieve a polished finish. This process enhances the overall appearance and ensures a uniform surface texture on both sides, contributing to a sleek and professional look. By polishing both surfaces, the countertop not only gains aesthetic appeal but also ensures proper fit and
stability during installation.

French Mitered Edge

The French Mitered Edge is a 90-degree angle
created by joining two pieces that are cut at a 45-degree angle. Mitered edges are often used for countertops, but they can also be used for other surfaces like window sills, bar tops, and tub surrounds. Mitered edges can make a material appear thicker and more luxurious and can give a countertop a high-end, custom appearance.

Removal of Existing Countertop

Hiring a professional company to remove your existing countertops helps ensure that the job is done safely, efficiently, and without causing unnecessary damage. It saves time, reduces the risk of injury or property damage, and ensures that the whole process—from removal to installation—is handled smoothly.

*Base pricing is for post form laminate removal only, Flatlay laminate, stone and solid surface will be custom priced.

Upgrade From 2cm to 4cm Edge

Opting for 4 cm edges instead of 2 cm is typically a choice driven by design preferences, durability needs, and budget.

A thicker edge offers a more luxurious look, greater strength, and customization potential, which can be particularly beneficial for larger or high-use countertops

SILESTONE, DEKTON, OR WA

A full backsplash provides a combination of practical benefits—such as added protection, easier cleaning, and enhanced durability—with aesthetic advantages like a seamless, sophisticated look. It’s especially useful in high traffic or high-moisture areas like kitchens and bathrooms, where spills, splashes, and water damage are common. Whether you’re aiming for a more luxurious, contemporary design or looking to add durability and functionality to your space, a full backsplash can be a smart, stylish choice.

What is a Handing Fee?

On Stone: Special handling charges are incurred when there are items related to an order that are not covered, or included in the basic Home Depot Countertop Program. Many of these items can be identified before the site measure, but are more
accurately defined at the time of the measure appointment (In‐home Closing). Keep in mind that Special Handling fees are charged as “each” and more than one Special Handling fee may be added to an order. Do not refer to handling fess as an
extra man charge, they cover handling from receiving the material, through the shop and, to the customer’s home.

What are some situations that trigger Special Handling fees?
There are various items that will trigger one or more Special Handling fees.
The following are some of the more common ones:

One or more Special Handling fee(s) will be triggered when any countertop piece is 17 SF or larger, refer to scale below.

17 – 26.9 sq ft. charge for one fee
27 – 35.9 sq ft. charge for two fees
36 – 44.9 sq ft. charge for three fees
45 – 53.9 sq ft. charge for four fees
54+ sq ft. charge for five fees
Note that handling fees are charged on the largest individual countertop piece only.
Large Individual countertop pieces are difficult to handle in production, crating, shipping and installation. For instance, a 30 SF stone countertop will weigh up to 600 pounds and will require special handling all the way through the process. There
is also a higher likelihood of breaking or damaging a large countertop compared to a smaller top. Special Handling fees can be avoided by adding additional seams or creating countertop pieces that are less than 17 SF. Difficult access to the site will
also incur Special handling charges. These could include stairways, lack of direct access to the entry door, elevators, etc.

**Special handling on Laminate install and supply only is applied only once on a job if any single piece exceeds 22 sq. ft. There will never be more than one handling fee on a laminate job.

If you have any concerns or questions about whether a Special Handling charge will apply to your customer’s job, please contact your Floform CSR.
